For many of us, 2016 was quite a year. That is especially true for all of us at Northern Lights Cannabis Co. As time marches on, so does progress and we saw quite a bit of progress in 2016. The marijuana movement continued to push forward with new states joining the ranks of legalized marijuana. And to better serve our customers, Northern Lights Cannabis Co. made some changes in 2016 that we think were for the better. Here’s a look back at Northern Lights Cannabis Co.’s year in review.
We started the year off right by extending our business hours at our flagship Sloan’s Lake location. January 1, 2016 marked the date we were open until midnight seven days per week. Serving both medical and recreational clients, we were stoked to provide these additional hours allowing folks to come in later to check out our great selection of cannabis products.
In February, we began offering daily specials and new pricing to our awesome recreational clients. Updated daily with current specials, we’re proud that we’ve been able to provide such excellent pricing and specials to our clients.
In June, we took our annual employee appreciation rafting trip. While the numbers of employees have grown over the years, our ideals have remained the same. This annual trip is a reward to our outstanding employees. There is no better way to bring a close group even closer and continue to build our Northern Lights Cannabis Co. family.
June also brought a new and improved look to our Northern Lights Cannabis Co. website. Designed with our customers in mind, the new site has provided a better user experience to our clients. Our new site has made it easier than ever to review our menu before heading to one of our two locations and learn about our staff favorites. It has also become a great educational tool to clients who like to do a little research before heading in.
In August, Northern Lights Cannabis Co. became an exclusive partner with Chong’s Choice cannabis products. We were so excited to be the first dispensary in Denver that carried Chong’s Choice products. Tommy’s high quality strains Blue Dream, Grape Stomper and Durban Haze became available at both of our Denver locations allowing us to make history once again in the Denver market. In 2014, Northern Lights Cannabis Co. made the first ever legal recreational marijuana sale in Denver.
These are just a few of our favorite highlights from 2016. With another year behind us so quickly, we’re so pleased to be a part of so many people’s lives and thankful for all of our clients. We are looking forward to 2017 and the coming years with each and every one of you. Going into 2017, our goals remain:
